Hello, my real name is Chris Morgan, IU am been into rping games since I was about 13. I am now 29, I live in Lafayette, IN and I do enjoy the Century's Edge game, I have yet to be able to order the whole book, but I have read through the demos and such, and I do like the overall system, and everything, I do plan on ordering the book, and other stuff in the very near future. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself.

I know we have a lot of you folks "ghosting" this forum (I don't know why though! don't be chicken -take Chris's lead and introduce yourselves!) -so for those of you that have the main book, you'll notice there is a thank you to the comic shop Castle's Comics and Cards on the credits page. Well, Chris here is one of the regulars at that shop -and I've actually had the pleasure of gaming with him a few times. I can't remember what all we played though. Back then, I think I was really into D6 Star Wars, WEG's DC Universe game, and...well it's been a while... Any how it's good to have you on the forum Chris and thanks for the complements on the game. Without building up expectations too soon (because we're always so dreadfully behind schedule on having things published), I think our next product "Movies Till Dawn" is really going to take the cake! Game on!

Alright Louie I'll bite and post on here as well. I'm Chris's younger brother Cory...so obviously my last name is Morgan. Before I say anything about Century's Edge or such I'll go ahead and confirm what we were playing when you were in the gaming group just for curiosity's sake...DC Universe was the main game at the time, but we also played a little bit of D6 Star Wars and occassionaly at the time 3rd Edition D&D(mainly on the days you weren't able to show up Louie).
Anyways like Chris I haven't had the chance to actually play Century's Edge due to lack of a book and the other's in our group currently don't seem to want to run through the demo. However I have read through the demo multiple times to get a feel for the system and I've gotta say it seems very well thought out and easy to learn while still being a smooth system(kinda like DC Universe was...unless you had certain Manipulation powers). Whenever Chris breaks down and gets a copy of the book finally I'm sure we'll be able to play it and give a better insight into the game.
Oh and by the way Louie, any chance of you running another DC Universe game...whether it be at Castle, or online via a forum or something like OpenRPG. As I would love a chance to play he system again rather than most likely fail at running it again.

Hear you are folks another one of my old gaming buddy's from Castle's! How are you Cory, good to hear from you! What sort of scenario our you guys doing with DCU? Are you playing with DC characters/villains? Is Jason playing? ...did he remake Inferno? (Sorry folks -a lot of inside talk here). I probably need to go down to the shop and talk to Rose about demoing Century's Edge some weekend for you guys and anyone else that is interested. Right now I'm under a huge time crunch to finish some projects before GenCon, so being able to game regularly at the shop doesn't seem possible. We are going to have a game of CE through RPGTonight.com open to whomever signs up for it (we'll be posting about it at the end of next week ~June 11, 2010).

Well we're currently mainly pplaying D&D 4th Edition...but when I run I tend to stray from it and run non D20 games...like the next game I was considering running was going to be DC. Of course if you run DC you have to use the villains from the comics at least once in a while...although I haven't decided fully on a power level(homemade or otherwise) for the game.
As far as your schedule not being open for any kind of regular gaming, that's understandable. Just keep in mind that we still game every Wed and Thurs down at Castle, and if you ever do get the chance to possibly game again we should be able to get you into whatever game is being run at the time.
Also if you do demo down at Castle...or decide to play online let me know when and I'll try to show up and demo/play the game...Chris probly will as well so long as he doesn't have to work then.
